Card of the Day: The Sun June 11, 2018

The card of the day is The Sun. In the image the sun is beaming and rays from the sun is sprinkling on two children. One child looks confused and the other child looks like he is aware of what is going on. The face that appears on the sun is actually Sun Ra. This tarot deck that I used includes images of actual famous and known black artists. Sun Ra was a well know jazz musician in the early and mid 1900s. He actually created his name based on the Egyptian God of the Sun.

Whenever you see the Sun card you can expect a lot of happiness going on. You are definitely going to happy with your relationships. If you are in a relationship right now then you can expect building a family and getting married in the future. If you are already in the marriage phase then the Sun card indicates a happy marriage.

If you have been working hard on something then expect good things to happen that will make you feel ecstatic. It is definitely your time to shine, so stay optimistic and absorb it. Bask in the warmth of the Sun! Start enjoying what life has to offer you.

On the negative side this card can indicate that you spend too much time being too optimistic that you can’t see the negative at times. You overlook anything that possibly could go wrong. There is nothing wrong with being optimistic, but you can’t be optimistic to the point that you are not able to observe and recognize the negative things in life.

Questions to reflect on:

  • Are you happy?
  • Are you taking advantage of what life has to offer you?
  • Do you want a family and marriage?
  • Are you living life to the fullest?
  • Do you look at both the negative and the positive aspects in life?
  • Are you being optimistic?
  • Are you being too optimistic?
  • Are enjoying life right now or intend to?
